Footed cup
Gilan Province. 1st-3rd century. Height 5.6 cm., diameter 9.6 cm. Private collection, Nagoya.
A footed bowl with a constricted rim, made of pale green opaque glass containing many air bubbles. The surface is decorated with mold-pressed serpentine patterns.
The footed cup is made of pale green glass containing many air bubbles, and has a pontil mark at the base. The foot and the body were made separately, then joined.
