HMS Parthian I (UK)

Royal Navy Brigantine Sloop, 1808-1828


This Parthian saw service in the Channel, Downs and North Sea (1809); Jamacia Station (1818); Channel service (1823); Mediterranean Station (1826).

Wrecked 15 May 1828 off the coast of Egypt. Under Capt. George HOTHAM was wrecked near Marabout Island, Egypt on 15 May 1828, when a southerly current sent the sloop out of her course.
