Bowl with facets in relief
PDC 23090a Gilan Province. 3rd-4th century. Height 8 cm., diameter 9.5 cm. Private collection, Tokyo.
A footed bowl with a slightly constricted rim, made of pale green opaque glass. There are seven circular facets cut in relief in the upper row and seven fingertip-sized, almond-shaped molded relief facets in the lower row. Each facet has a concave surface.
