Pitcher
Gilan Province. 1st-3rd century. Height 10.4 cm. Private collection, Tokyo.
A pitcher with a rolled rim, made of translucent glass that has effloresced. A
mark remains where the neck and body were joined when the vessel was made. There
are vertical ribs on the body, which bulges toward the base, and a pontil mark
in the center of the base.
