Ointment bottle with oval facets in relief
Gilan Province. 1st-3rd century. Height 11. 1 cm. Private collection,
Nagoya.
A slender bottle of light brown translucent glass. The neck is in two tiers,
with the edges planed. The body is widest in the middle, tapering to either end.
There are three oval facets in relief on the middle portion of the body, while
three more on the lower part of the body serve as feet.
