Rings and earring
Gilan Province. 1st-3rd century. Private collection, Tokyo.
The rings in the upper row are made of copper and have flat-surfaced glass
settings decorated with human or animal motifs. The ring on the far left in the
lower row is made entirely of glass, and the flat-surfaced setting is
embellished with a piece of vermilion glass paste. The earring at the far right
in the lower row is decorated with a round, dark blue bead.
