Blue-glazed pitcher
Clay. Haft Tepe. 1st-3rd century A.D.
Height 30.5 cm. Collection of Nakashiba Shōji, Inc., Tokyo. The pitcher narrows
below the neck, and several linear designs are executed at two places on the
body. The base is almost flat. The inner and outer surfaces are covered with
blue glaze. There is a spout on the rim.
