Bowl with facets
Gilan Province. 1st-3rd century. Height 8.7 cm., diameter 12 cm. Private collection, Tokyo.
A bowl with a thick body and a thin outward-curving rim, made of pale green glass containing many air bubbles. There is a circular facet at the base, with ten oval facets in the upper row and five oval facets in the lower row.
