Conical beaker with ornamental blobs
Gilan Province. 3rd-5th century. Height 14.4 cm., diameter 6.6 cm. Private collection, Tokyo.
A rhyton-shaped vessel of fairly thick clear glass. Twenty-one blobs of blue glass encircle the vessel, and there are incised lines around the rim and above and below the decorative blobs.
