Blue-glazed jar with pair of handles

This piece has a thick rim that spreads outward and a powerful-looking pair of
handles on the shoulder. Two projected lines in relief on the lower part of the
neck are the only decoration. Probably the entire surface was coated with blue
glaze originally, but it has effloresced and is now yellow. Possibly this piece
was unearthed from the southwestern region of the Iranian highlands. Scale
